had a really good day today,,,very hot, got some good things done in the studio today . have been working on my old homeplace...the house i was borned in,, i think it is done but i will look at it tomorrow and then i'll know.
my wife retired today and i am glad for her, so things might be changing around my house..i hope not.
will post some photos tomorrow.

while i was at mccotters marina this week i took about 10 photos and while i was sitting around the studio today trying to decide what to paint, this came to me, will work on it over the weekend.see the photo in the upper right corner,

i went out this morning looking for new places to paint and i think i have found a neat place...a boatyard, down at mccotters marina they have a yard with 20 or more boats sitting in the yard...not in the water and these are large ones , 30 plus feet. what do you think? let me know...

now this is a good looking bunch of painters

this was this past friday at the southside farm, i think we plan to paint there one more friday.

this was last year on the washington waterfront, now you can't tell me this is not good for your blood pressure.

i really believe this extends your life and makes you a really nice guy, or girl, it also makes some of us much younger.

was a good day today, went to the riverwalk gallery gallery knowing their plen air paint out would be rained out, so found me a place to set up that would keep me dry and still paint....no rain all day, didn't paint what i wanted , it was fun and a really good day.
painted friday and saturday...gonna take tomorrow off and sit around the studio and clean brushes and read....

this is my latest studio work, has been a really busy week, and getting ready for the local members show at the art council.
