friday painting

 this friday lets meet in washington n c  at the corner of market st. and water st., so much to paint here, river, boats, a very pretty garden and lots more...
    had a very good time in kinston n c  at their
plein air event this past weekend, there were appox. 25 painters there... i did three paintings and turned the in for judging and for sale.
  the paintings shown here , thefirst one is a plein air that was done in bob carr's back yard.
   the second one is a studio painting of an older painting from back in the 20's.
   remember the members show must be turned in this week....
will see you all friday, should be a great day, mid 70's, no rain.....

fri painting

well its friday again and time to go out there and paint and paint a masterpiece.
this friday we go to bath n c  to paint at bob carr's home  if anyone needs directions

hi guys, there will be no plein air painting tomorrow due to some family things i have,,, but that only means you can go in your back yard and do a nice one there.

we will get together next week for sure.

stan's garage

greetings, boy, can you believe this weather. the last time we were

out painting we went to stan hudsons garage in chocowinity, this

is where they have the big tractor show each year..

had a good turnout with john hanley from new bern, bob,and

john goesser and myself...NO LADIES...maybe next time.

little art show

hi guys, hope everyone is entering the "little art" show here in town. this is a

show i always enjoy. above are my two enteries.

can you believe this weather.... can't wait to get out there and do a little plein

air, i am going down to the studio now about every day now except when i have

physical theraphty......things are looking better.

after surgery

hi guys, has been awhile since i posted on this blog, just to update you,

on jan. 23 i had a knee replacement and today will be my first day

to step outside. i am so pumped.... as the saying goes, i can see the light at the end of the tunnel. i want to think susan for watching my studio and selling a few paintings for me....and i also want to think my friends who

came by to wish me well and sent me all those e-mails, thank you,

thank you, think you.....most of all i want to think my wife, jackie, without her i could never have got this done. i still have about three weeks of rehab to do.

2012 is going to be a good year and i look forward to painting with all of you.....later
